History of the Coppi bicycle brand

The industry was born in Novi Ligure in 1932 and its founders were brothers Rinaldo, Mario and Lino Fiorelli.

Initially the Novi-based company built racing frames to the point of producing complete bikes for racing, so much so that it had a team with Ferdy Kubler, Jean Robic and Ugo Koblet.

To count his many successes he joined the Spanish "Ignis" thus giving life to the "Ignis-Fiorelli" (with Ferdy Kubler, Ruiz, Miguel Poblet) then also the "Gazzola" (with Gaul, Alessandro Fantini, Pettinati); to "Filotex" (Bitossi); to the "Germanvox-Wega" mentioned in the photo on the left; to the "Zonca" (Gianni Motta and Pierino Gavazzi); to "Carpano-Coppi".

For many years the name of this company remained linked to that of Fausto Coppi, becoming COPPI-FIORELLI.
